LNY - Year of the Horse - 2026

 Hehoo! 2026 is the year of the Horse. This was a fun challenge, to have the Horse still be teeny tiny compare to the Snake, and would still beat the Snake's butt somehow. 

The entire animation took me 2 weeks. But the planning and the stresssing out part took together 4 months. The most fun part for me, was to look back at my little sketch book that i kept with me at all time for those 4 months, to specifically learn how to draw a horse, and what to do with this year challenge. Some digital process pic. Due to the tight deadline, i had to quickly update the Snake's design into a more graphic style, flat color, lineless, while still using the color palette and texture from last year's design. For the Horse, i minimize the lines and colors, trying to design them in a way that i can almost line them exactly how i sketched them.
